There are hundreds of lawsuits pending against Monsanto-Bayer for Roundup users who have been afflicted with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It is our opinion that Dewayne Johnson's case is weaker than some because he had not been using Roundup for even a decade. But the case did show that Monsanto has been skewing studies and blocking scientific data linking cancers with Roundup.
According to an August 2018 story in the Guardian:
Dewayne Johnson, a 46-year-old former [school] groundskeeper, won a huge victory in the landmark case on Friday, with the jury determining that Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller caused his cancer and that the corporation failed to warn him of the health hazards from exposure. The jury further found that Monsanto “acted with malice or oppression”.
Update, Oct 10, 2018: The Wall Street Journal states a California judge may grant Bayer a new trial.
GMO Potatoes create their own pesticide, Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis).
In 2015, the World Health Organization declared glyphosate (the active ingredient in Monsanto's RoundUp) to be "a probable carcinogen." The following links show that Monsanto hid data indicating RoundUp is carcinogenic.

AP Exclusive: Pesticide Maker Tries to Kill Risk Study
(Excerpts below; See links for full articles)
"Dow Chemical wrote a $1 million check to help underwrite Trump’s inaugural festivities, and its chairman and CEO, Andrew Liveris, heads a White House manufacturing working group...
Trump's EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt announced he was reversing an Obama-era effort to bar the use of Dow’s chlorpyrifos pesticide on food after recent peer-reviewed studies found that even tiny levels of exposure could hinder the development of children’s brains...
The EPA’s recent biological evaluation of chlorpyrifos found the pesticide is “likely to adversely affect” 1,778 of the 1,835 animals and plants accessed as part of its study, including critically endangered or threatened species of frogs, fish, birds and mammals. Similar results were shown for malathion and diazinon..
In 2005, the Bush administration ordered an end to residential use of diazinon to kill yard pests such as ants and grub worms after determining that it poses a human health risk, particularly to children. ...Malathion ... is also an active ingredient in some shampoos prescribed to children for treating lice...
Traces of the chemical are commonly found in sources of drinking water. A 2012 study at the University of California at Berkeley found that 87 percent of umbilical-cord blood samples tested from newborn babies contained detectable levels of chlorpyrifos...
When Trump signed an executive order in February mandating the creation of task forces at federal agencies to roll back government regulations, Dow’s chief executive was at Trump’s side."
Monsanto outed in court over fudged and fraudulent documents promising glyphosate's (Roundup) safety.

Bayer makes the Rx "copanlisib" which is used to treat "incurable indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphoma". Bayer is buying Monsanto (deal to close 2017), the company being sued by multiple non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma patients because their flagship herbicide, glyphosate is linked to creating non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. America used over 200 million pounds of glyphosate in 2015, much of it being sprayed on our genetically modified food crops. Yum.

BAYER OFFERING $66 BILLION for MONSANTO, According to WSJ, Monsanto is "the world's largest seed company by sales".
In 1925, Bayer merged with two other major German chemical companies into a powerhouse called IG Farben. It was the single biggest donor to the election campaign of Adolph Hitler.
IG Farben (Bayer etc) joined forces with the the Nazi’s SS and created Auschwitz Concentration Camp where IG Farben used slave labor and did unspeakable pharmaceutical experiments on the inmates. When the Allies won, they broke up IG Farben into its original companies: Bayer, BASF and Hoechst (now Aventis) and jailed of IG Farben executives.
Proving that Bayer had its heart in its old ways, when Fritz ter Meer, of IG Farben's executive committee and the chief industrialist responsible for Auschwitz, was released from prison he was made Chairman of the Bayer’s Board from 1956 to 1964.
Two of the three companies, Bayer and Aventis (Hoechst), are GMO food corporations which sell to the US market. Bayer also invests in cancer cures expecting huge uptick in cancer. Ironically, Germany bans the growing of GMO crops.
